SWISS FANTASY SHOW HELPS “FONDATION THEODORA”:

You can see the imagination as the ability of humans to travel to other countries, without taking a plane or the bus. Children have a kind of naivety that makes the escape easier than adults, caught in the turmoil of everyday life. Indeed, the children go into the regions of their imagination through books, comics, games, movies … Each of these mediums is like a door just waiting to be opened.

This fascinating power that has the dream, the Swiss Fantasy Show intends to defend but also to exploit it. To dream is to go to recharge, it is also a time to escape the torments of daily life. In this sense, humor and play have the same virtues. Laughter is salutary, since it allows to forget the hard times. The Theodora Foundation is fighting every day to provide children hospitalized a few well-being, through a smile or a fun activity with ease. Therefore, the goals of Theodora and Swiss Fantasy Show is somewhere similar. We want to amaze, appease, invite the other to travel. We decided to host the convention in Morges, home of the foundation, and welcome it to show to our visitors what they are doing. Members of the association will be on hand to answer all your questions and few surprises await you at their booth. To further demonstrate our support, the Swiss Fantasy Show is committed to pay  2. – from each poster sold at the convention. In addition, we offer a statue that will be possible to win at booth Theodora, in a contest whose terms will be announced later. All winnings from this competition will be fully transmitted to the Foundation. Because nothing can replace the laughter or the amazed gaze of a child!

The Theodora Foundation was created in 1993 around a mission: to relieve the daily laughter of children hospitalized or in specialized institutions. For this, the Theodora Foundation relies on the talents of professional artists, clown doctors. Very different from training, these artists receive specialized training in order to practice their art in hospitals. In 2011, 49 clown doctors of the Theodora Foundation visited 79’500 children in 34 hospitals and 14 specialized agencies of Switzerland.gs from this competition will be fully transmitted to the Foundation. Because nothing can replace the laughter or the amazed gaze of a child!
